In this fourth episode of the series, Mark Waid pens the script and Dan Mora provides the artwork. According to DC Comics’ summary, «Gorilla Grodd’s brutal time-based attack on the Justice League persists, causing Batman and Superman from an era known as the World’s Finest Superheroes to witness chilling visions of their own futures…and the hardships they’ll face.» The issue includes a primary cover by Dan Mora, along with alternative covers from Lucio Parrillo, Adrían Gutiérrez, and A.L. Kaplan.
Justice League Unlimited #7
In the fifth installment of the tale, an unexpected champion will rise to the challenge. The plot summary unveils that «The Justice League is splintered across different time periods due to the Legion of Doom’s unimaginable feat – a siege on the Watchtower! As Gorilla Grodd’s assault escalates, it falls upon one hero to summon reinforcements, and this may not be who you anticipate!» Mark Waid and artist Travis Moore are responsible for scripting and illustrating the issue. The covers are provided by Dan Mora (with the second part of his connected cover), Jorge Molina, Tiago da Silva, Travis Moore, and Yanick Paquette.
As a passionate fan, I’m thrilled to share that DC is set to release Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #39 on May 21. The anticipation builds as Justice League Unlimited #7 drops on May 28. Though the details of the climax are shrouded in mystery, it’s expected to unfold in June, so keep your eyes peeled for updates!
